Happiness box
It’s in a bag. Inside a box. And dropping onto your in-tray in a few days time if you go to the ProCo website and ask for some.

A little while ago, our good friends and clients over at ProCo asked us to come up with a mailing piece to demonstrate their prodigious, almost magical, web-to-print capabilities. “Do something a bit different,” they said. “And while you’re at it, let’s see if we can’t stick two fingers up at this depressing recession doom and gloom cobblers”. Knowing ProCo as we do, and they’re a very upbeat bunch who genuinely enjoy what they do, we understood where they were coming from.

The result was the ProCo Happiness campaign. The idea was to offer to catch some of the ‘happy air’ that’s floating around in the ProCo factory, bag it and send it out to brighten up your day. The accompanying leaflet introduces you to the collection methods available ranging from the Vac-u-grin to the Smile Catcher and tells the story of how the Happy Air is caught, bagged and sent out.

Supported by teaser ads in the print sector magazines the campaign drives enquiries to a bespoke section on their website where you can find out about the collection methods, order some air and even specify which member of the ProCo team you want to catch your bag of Happy Air for you. Iris’s digital team also created an addictive online game where you can have a go at catching some Happiness yourself. Trust me, it’s not as easy as it sounds.

A couple of days later you’ll receive a mysterious pink box containing a bag of the real stuff accompanied by a bespoke printed brochure and a sticker certifying how your Happy Air was collected and by whom. Ironic isn’t it? You spend your whole life searching for Happiness and then find it in Sheffield. Want some Happiness? Go to procoprint.co.uk
